If you have concerns about the logistics of your trip due to family emergency, health or weather conditions, we advise that you take out a traveler’s insurance policy to protect the costs of your trip.
Every time we plan a trip, we make reservations on your behalf. We are a small tour company and do not have investment capital, and cannot afford to cover these costs up front in full. We therefore have a prepayment policy of 50% of the tour cost on confirming the tour, and the remaining 50% by or on the first day of the tour.
If cancellation is necessary and made at least 21 days in advance of the confirmed tour start date, we will refund 50% of your prepayment (equates to 25% of the total cost).
If cancellation is necessary and made within 21 days of the confirmed tour start date, you can choose to reschedule the tour and push the start date back to a further date, and you will not lose any costs of your trip. However, if cancellation is absolutely necessary we will be unable to provide a refund of the prepayment amount (50% of the trip cost) due to having already booked local reservations on your behalf.
If you have confirmed a tour with Sidi already and need to make a payment, you can do this on our Make a Payment page. We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer
(if you are already in the country; do not mail physical cash)
Tell us about your needs. Do you have any food allergies? Do you have an respiratory machine that requires electricity overnight? Any other physical conditions that will need special accommodation?
When You Arrive
A Sidi Tour guide will be waiting with a sign at wherever your point of entry is (airport, bus station, etc). You will have a picture, name and phone number of your attending guide that you can use to find and contact them.
At the airport, authorities will ask if you have an address or phone number. Let them know you’re here with Sidi Tours, and provide the phone number given to you for this guide. If you are having any language issues in communicating with authorities, call your guide and they will work with the authorities to translate for your needs.
If you have any large or small equipment like a camera drone or DSLR camera and tripod, authorities will very likely ask what the purpose of this is. You should make it clear that you are a tourist and this is for personal use.
Once you’ve met with your guide, we will take you to your hotel and the fun begins!
