We price our tours transparently and work hard to ensure that you don’t have any unexpected surprises on your tour.
Please read our inclusions and exclusions carefully.
Group Tours
Inclusions
- Pick up and drop-off to/from NKC Airport
- Conditions: if arriving between 10:00 and 22:00 on the designated arrival day, and departing on the tour end date
- Chef-prepared meals each day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) outside of Nouakchott
- Note: meals in Nouakchott and Nouadhibou are not included; please do not put meals on your hotel bill
- Plenty of water per day (~1 liter every 2 hours)
- All hotel and guest house costs outside of Nouakchott (applies only to our bookings, not your own)
- Thoroughly maintained and inspected 4×4 truck(s)
- Driver, chef, and a guide who speaks the language most preferred by the group
- All overnight and camping materials
- Exception: personal sleeping bag, please bring one if traveling between Oct and Mar.
- All taxes, fees and insurances for police and military checkpoints within the country
- Day-use of a hotel on the trip end date for guests to shower and rest before their departure flight if time permits
Exclusions
- Airfare
- Visa entry fees
- Souvenirs or guest budget for extra snacks or beverages
- Any meals in Nouakchott
- Any additional hotels in Nouakchott (other than the night of the tour Day 0)
- Any airport transportation required outside of our included time—but we offer private car transportation for €30 per instance
